I found an injured bird! Help?

My dad found an injured bird in the road, he thinks it got hit by a car. Its laying on its back in a box I put it in, but its still breathing and can move its head a little. Im not sure what I should do! Should I feed it? Give it water? Im really scared and would be soo sad if it died because of me! Please help! Thank you :)
