How many days after a tonsillectomy does your throat start to feel better?

I had a tonsillectomy Thursday the 16th, so 9 days ago and the pain in my throat hasn't gotten any better. I was very good and only bought 4 Fancy gold fish to live in my 50 gallon aquarium even though they're tiny at the moment. I am a 13 year old boy, I weigh 130 and am 5'4. Lately, I've noticed I have been eating more. Like I would have breakfast "one toast, 1/2 tbsp cream cheese'' then like 20 mins later I'm hungry again. So i got some popcorn and ate 1/4 of the bag, then i told myself i can't eat till 3:30 when it was like 12pm and so ya i didnt eat. my mom was at the doctors so she brought food,a chipotle burito (barbacoa, rice, lettuce, red sauce, and corn, i know cause i texted her what i wanted). So usually after eating that i would be really full where i can throw up but i wasnt full but i wasnt hungry either. I have had a 45 calorie popsicle since then and i need help on what can fill me up and be healthy becaue i want to lose 25 pounds. And ramedan is coming up and i want to fast for a month, and im worried i cant do it like this. am i eating bad food or is it just puberty.

When I was 17 I ran away from home because my mother was an alcoholic. My aunt told the courts she would take me in (only because she wanted child support money). I don't miss people, and I could like them but if they were to dissapear the next day I would not care. Judging from my childhood I used to be a troublemaker all the time. I would not mind hurting other people to get what I wanted, and not because Im a bad guy just becayse I can't care. My mom was yelling at about how big of a failure i was after she caught me smoking pot. I was laying in bed crying and my mom was yelling at me to get up and do something with my life (im severly depressed and have been since 6th grade.) a few days prior to the yelling i was in a bike accident where i sprained my wirst and badly bruised my shoulder. in rage my mom grabbed my recovering wrist and attempted to pull me out of bed but instead she just twisted my wrist and injured my shoulder even more. I dont think she caused any serious problems but my shoulder and wrist were almost better before the incident and now they are worse. Should i go to a doctor and tell him/her what happened or should i wait till i meet with my regular doctor about depression. This is going to be the first time ever talking to my doctor about depression. im 16. I already have a apointment scheduled with my regular doctor but i dont know when it it. What should i do?

Instead of chips try broccoli or carrots. But you definitely need to start drinking a lot more water. It can help you with numerous things. If you don't like the taste of water, you would get some Crystal Lite or one of the zero calorie flavors to add to it, pour it in an ice tray with tooth picks, and eat it kind of like a Popsicles, since you like popsicles.

Car accident with a police?

So my husband had a car accident with a police officer.... The cop ran a red light with out having his siren on and even though both my husband and the cop tried breaking it was too late... My husband's car got pretty damaged no one was injured or taken to the hospital. They didn't give my husband a citation because it wasn't his fault all they gave him was a case number to give to his insurance and they let him go. Our insurance is having to cover the damage and we are having to pay the deductible from our pocket. Also after that day he has had really bad headaches so i tried scheduling him an appointment to see a dr but they asked me if he had been in any accident so i said yes and then they told me that they couldn't see him because they might need papers signed by a lawyer.... so my question : should we hire a lawyer or would we be wasting our time? has anyone been through something similar?

What to do about my neighbor?

Carlos is my neighbor. He was a quiet man, tending to his lemon trees in the afternoons. Nowadays he seems to be a troublemaker. Join extra curriculum. I suggest band. They're stereotyped as nerds, I know. But it's a family. You have to spend so much time with them. Band room becomes home. And you make tons of friends and in my band class "That's what she said " jokes are famous. It's a ton of fun. Oh! And you get the full right to say "This one time at band camp.." you will enjoy it(: band camP for marching requires TONS of physical work, and my friend lost 20 lbs from it.

Will a cat hiss at her abusers?

There is a stray cat in my boyfriend's neighborhood that he and I have unofficially "adopted". We feed her and play with her we've even given her a name "Putzy" but we don't allow her into the house because his dad is allergic. We see her virtually everyday. A few weeks ago the cat disappeared for a few days and when we saw her again someone had shaved her. We thought maybe she does have an owner and the owner did it. Well this week she disappeared again for a few days. When we saw her she was shaved again but this time she appeared traumatized. Her tail was also shaved. She also looked like she hadn't eaten for a few days. She usually just meows at the front door. This time she was clinging on the security like she was begging to come in. Usually when she sees me and I have my back towards she starts meowing and rubbing herself on me until I start petting her. This time she hid behind a tree and meowed. She didn't come towards me until I turned my head. Usually my boyfriend or his mom can only hold her for a few minutes and she always wants them to put her down. This time she was clinging like she wanted to stay held. To top it off, we found another neighborhood cat that had been shaved in a similar fashion to Putzy. We think there's some neighborhood troublemakers doing this to the neighborhood cats. We suspect who it is but we have no proof. I know dogs will bark at someone who hurt them but will cats do something like hiss or meow at the person who hurt them? Also if she is traumatized, what can I do for her?

More japanese people were killed by one A bomb than americans were killed in pearl harbor so your friends wrong. Also, I wouldn't really consider many of the japanese people to be innocent because the majority of them were tought to fight for they're country no matter what the cost. They didn't get what they deserved with the A bomb, that was just a result of war, you have to expect retaliation, to get what they deserved would involve us unixpectedly attacking a crucial military base just like they did to us. Did they deserve the tsunami? I supose but in the end your still talking about people lives.

It's good, the sense of struggle and danger you put in the beginning always attracts readers. You keep having allusions which is good so that readers have a sense of what your character is going through even if they've never been on a battlefield or accident. I find you take your time with the details and stretch out dramatic scenes, this is not a bad thing just your writing style.

Foot injury.. Will running hurt it more? ?

I hurt my foot about 2 weeks ago while running. It's along the inside of my right foot, and feel like it's on/near the bone, towards the middle. Never was and still no swelling. I was really just wondering if I could run again without hurting it more. If it will just hurt, I can deal with that; but I don't want to injure it more. Thanks in advance.

Never eat less than 1200 calories a day and that's only if you getting absolutely no exercise. You yourself should probably be eating about 1400-1600 calories a day if you want to lose weight. I know you think you're beating the system if you're eating less but you're just going to be screwing yourself over because you're slowing down your metabolism and making it more likely that you'll binge. Also I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news but for someone your size, 10 lbs in a month is not a realistic goal, even if you meet it it will probably be a lot of water weight lost and not actual fat. Try to aim for 1-2 lbs a week which for someone not overweight is already a lot, and it's a lot more likely that the weight will stay off and come off consistently.

I have 5 snakes and I never heard of one eating crickets and stuff like but most stores have frozen mice and a good starter snake would probaly be either a corn snake or a little bigger is a king snake. My biggest snake is a 6 foot boa and it is easy to take care of so any snakes that start of small then grow.

My 5 year old little girl woke up sick 2 nights ago vomiting everywhere saying the hot dogs she ate for dinner upset her stomach...my husband, the next morning woke up doing the same, so I, like anyone else with common sense would assume, they had food poisoning. So, I kept her home from school , therefore missing her last day of kindergarten. Using the BRAT diet (bananas, rice, applesauce, toast) all foods she would never eat if she weren't sick, she refused them and what she did eat would come back up, so I gave her unsalted plain tortilla chips and gatorade...and and I froze pedialyte to make it like popsicles so she'd eat on them all day. So, now my over dramatic mother in law is now threatening to "call CPS" for not feeding my child and keeping her home from school. I'm not worried about any of this but I want someone else's opinion on this...
