'adoptive aunt' bringing up the past?

When I was 17 I ran away from home because my mother was an alcoholic. My aunt told the courts she would take me in (only because she wanted child support money). I wasn't a troublemaker, I was pretty quiet and just kept to myself. I only lived with her family for 2 months because I couldn't stand it. I shared a bedroom with 3 of my cousins, there was never food in the house, I was only allowed to shower once a week, I had one pair of pants...the list just goes on and on. Anyways, now that I'm an adult I stay in contact with my cousins. Anytime they have a family get together my aunt just HAS to bring up the time I lived with them. This was years ago and I'm sure she doesn't remember most of it but she changes the stories to suit herself. I'm at the point where I just avoid going to her house at all. What else is there to do?
